Adaptogen Coffee Recipe with CBD and Lion's Mane | Breakfast Criminals

Is frothy latte part of your daily morning ritual?

If so, get ready to take it to the next level with this adaptogenic Caramel Clarity Latte with lion’s mane, ashwagandha and nano CBD powder.

I’m all about nourishing elixirs that not only taste good, but are also functional.

If you’re still not clear about adaptogens, my podcast guest, Sage Dammers of Addictive Wellness, summarized it best:

“Adaptogens improve your body’s own natural energy production. Taking adaptogens is like putting more money into your checking account.”

Back to the most effective morning latte recipe I’ve ever created!

I’ve tried of recipes with superfoods and superfood blends over the years, and it’s rare that I feel their impact right away. Most take time and patience.

But with beam Clarity Blend it’s different – every time I take it, I feel super focused for hours. I thought it was a coincidence, so I tested making this recipe with and without Clarity. The result blew me away.

If you’re not a coffee drinker, I got you – this recipe has a caffeine-free option!

So why is this adaptogenic powder so powerful? Here are some of the ingredients that stand out.

If you’re curious to experience any of these, you can also start by trying the individual adaptogens on their own in your lattes or smoothies.

1. Lion’s Mane

Lion’s mane is a fun-looking anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and immune-boosting mushroom that offers powerful brain function support. According to world’s top mycologist Paul Stamets, “lion’s mane supports neurogenesis, creativity, intelligence and happiness.” Mycologist Jason Scott shared with me in this podcast interview that lion’s mane is the top mushroom he recommends for entrepreneurs. Read about lion’s mane benefits here and here.

2. THC-Free CBD

Organic nano CBD powder is a bioavailable form of CBD. It’s THC-free, and can have positive effects on brain, central nervous system, and connective tissue. High-quality CBD oil can:

  • Relieve pain and inflammation at the root (instead of covering it up like pain killers).
  • Reduce stress and anxiety.
  • Enhance sleep quality.

I trust beam because it’s third-party tested, organically grown, contains no binders or dyes, and is full-spectrum.

3. Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is a medicinal herb hat can help manage stress anxiety, and depression; lower blood sugar levels and boost brain function. Plus it’s is being studied for possible anti-cancer properties.

The Clarity blend also contains rhodiola, an adaptogenic herb that can help reduce stress.

Beam hooked up 15% off for the Breakfast Criminals community with the code BREAKFASTCRIMINALS. It’s one of the few products I bring me with me when I travel and even though it’s on the pricey side, it’s 100% worth it!

Try this recipe and feel the effect for yourself!
