At mindbodygreen's Revitalize wellness summit in Arizona

I’m a big believer in using creative visualization to create a life that you love. Journaling, vision boards, the whole shebang.

I also am convinced that it’s important to take a moment to stop and celebrate what we’ve already accomplished. Comparing my achievements with previous vision boards and lists of goals always reminds me about the power of believing and the law of attraction.

Before we officially move into 2017, I thought I’d take a moment to thank each one of you for being here with me, and to celebrate the most memorable moments of 2016.

January

The year kicked off with “The Real Reset” event that I co-hosted with founder of my favorite website OKREAL, Amy Woodside. In this interview workshop, we shared what we know about being your best self, using the tools you already have. Perfect way to start the year with clarity and motivation! I also got to host an acai bowl breakfast at Soho House with Indie Fresh.

My upcoming retreat with Jaycee Gossett is named “One Of The Best 11 Retreats In The World Right Now” by Well+Good! 

I also got to host a yoga + breakfast morning with RETOX star Lauren Imparato, who brilliantly reminded us that “If you have time to scroll on Instagram for 20 minutes, you have time to meditate.”

While I started Breakfast Criminals in 2012, I was working a 9-6 job as a Social Media & PR Director at a luxury image consulting company until now. May was the month when I left my full-time job and headed back to Hawaii, where Breakfast Criminals inception happened when I had my first acai bowl in Oahu.

My dream came true – I went into the Amazon rainforest to meet acai farmers and watch the harvest! One of the happiest moments in my life. I wrote a blog post about my experience and shared a YouTube video: 


Went to Colorado on the most life-changing retreat I’ve ever done. During my stopover in Denver, had the savory breakfast of the year: shredded cauliflower ‘rice’, local seasonal roasted veggies, miso bone broth & 2 local organic eggs sunny side up ☀️

Went on a 3-week solo journey to Bali and fell in love with Balinese smiles, coffee & massages, and did a transformational sacred cacao ceremony ? Found the best Pitaya smoothie bowl and turmeric latte ever at Peloton Supershop thanks to Charlie Knoles:

Brought the superfood love to the launch of Miu Miu’s L’eau Bleue Parfum at the Beatrice INN in New York with an E3 Live parfait made with Anita’s Coconut Yogurt and Purely Elizabeth granola.
