So recently I spent a post-Strala Yoga sunday afternoon at McNally Jackson, my favorite NYC book store, discovering The Body Book by Cameron Diaz. The philosophy behind it is very simple but profound: you are what you eat, so wholesome unprocessed foods, workouts that makes you feel happy, and generally a positive attitude are key to being happy in your own body, which leads to what they call ‘healthy glow’.

Inspired by how Cameron is using her influence to spread the message about healthy living into the masses, I created a Pitaya Plus and Spinach breakfast smoothie bowl recipe – raw, vegan, soy free, dairy free, gluten free and added sugar free. Check out the original post on The Body Book blog!

This smoothie bowl supports digestion (healthy enzymes in soaked oats and nuts), supports healthy heart and bones (magnesium in pitaya, aloe vera and spinach), boosts the immune system (beta-carotene in spinach), and reduces inflammation (omega-3 fatty acids in Pitaya and chia).
