Healthy Vegan Mango Lassi Smoothie Bowl

I love the combination of sweet mango with sour yogurt in a creamy lassi, so I created this healthy refined sugar free version that makes a perfect nutritious breakfast, or a refreshing smoothie on the go. Add ginger and a slice of lemon with zest to this creamy sensation, as it gives it a perfectly zesty finish, and is great for digestion and immunity.  This is definitely one of my Top 3 breakfast recipes! Superfood Mango Lassi Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients: 

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 mango
  • 1/3 cup plain thick Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 3 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1 inch chopped or grated fresh ginger
  • 1 large slice unpeeled lemon
  • 2 dates (optional for sweetness)
