How does the OG Breakfast Criminal start her day?
I get that question a lot.
So I had Well+Good come over to my place to document a few elements of my morning routine. It includes oil pulling, saging, meditating (with Headspace or Insight apps), and making a protein-packed açaì bowl with Tambor Acai!
And no, I don’t actually use sage instead of deodorant. Morning routines don’t have to be that serious!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Acai Bowl Recipe
8 oz. almond milk
1 scoop protein powder of your choice (I used Amazing Grass protein chocolate powder)
1 pack acai, frozen (I recommend Tambor Acai)
1/2 avocado, frozen
1 banana, frozen
1 date, soaked
Coconut shavings (optional)
Almond butter (optional)
1. Add almond milk, protein powder, acai, avocado, banana, and date to blender, and blend until smooth.
2. Pour into a cute bowl and garnish with granola, fresh fruit, coconut shavings, almond butter, or any other toppings of your choice. Snap a pic, and dig in!
